Richard Peck House is a late Victorian property that was built in 1896 using the North West's famous Accrington brick which was also used in the construction of the nearby Blackpool Tower.

The RAF Association acquired Richard Peck House in 1957. Following alterations including the conversion of some of the larger bedrooms and ground floor rooms, the home opened to the public in 1960 and is now jointly funded by the RAF Association and the RAF Benevolent Fund.

Richard Peck House is named in memory of Air Marshal Sir Richard Peck KCB OBE. Sir Richard served as president of the RAF Association from 1949 to 1952.
